+Annika Wester

Annika Wester was born in Sweden and now lives and works in Paris.
Annika aims for creating fun/beautiful/alluring images, often with delicate details
in a vintage-feel, whether she draws big-eyed fashionable girls, architecture, portraits, fauna & flora, cars or patterns.. She is also often commissioned to do handwriting.

Most of Annika's inspiration comes from the nature, her passion for clothes & make-up, movies and comics, music, but most of all from her own imagination & background.
Her line drawings are always made with ink pen. She also makes paintings in oil and acrylic on different kinds of media.

Annika's illustrations for the Korean cosmetic company Etude House are immensely
popular and she has a big fan-base growing in Asia since the cosmetic line "Wannabe
Winter Collection" was released in December 2011.

The Japanese fabric company Kokka also just launched high quality fashion fabrics
with Annika's patterns. The line is called "Accessory Dreams".

Annika has exhibited her work in Tokyo, Los Angeles, Paris, Stockholm and New York.

She has worked as a freelance illustrator since 1997 and has studied print at Hovedskou School of Art in Gothenburgh and painting at The Academy of Art in Budapest.
