Chico graduated from the Art Department of Lewis and Clark College and in 1994 she began her career as a freelance illustrator. Her illustrations are known for their delicate lines in convergence with dynamic color done in ink. Her work is full of elegance and sensible colors. She has been a part of many charity events, product collaborations, textile work, jewelry production, and her work embodies a broad scope of varying crafts and practices.
