Samantha Hahn’s Heart Garland

Samantha Hahn created some illustrations for decorative party garland by Mudpuppy. The garland is too cute, and would be perfect for any occasion (baby shower, valentines day party, or general love-fest). The garland is 10 feet long, so it will definitely brighten up any party!

Lisa Grue in NYC

Lisa Grue is in New York City for the International Contemporary Furniture Fair from May 19th-22nd. She’ll be in town for a month, and she’s already been posting her inspiration findings around the city on her blog! Tina Berning chosen for American Illustration 31

Tina Berning has been selected for this years American Illustration 31 competition. Her two images below will be included in the upcoming publication American Illustration 31, which will be released in hardcover at a launch party on Friday November 9, 2011, as a part of Illustration Week in New York City. We are so excited that Tina was selected among over 1,200 illustrators! You can view Tina’s images, as well as the others that were selected on the American Illustration website.

Masayuki Ogisu’s new book “Phenomenon”

Here’s a peek at Masayuki Ogisu’s new solo book “Phenomenon” that is filled with over 200 beautiful illustrations. Recently released and endorsed by Anna Sui, it’s only available for purchase in Japan. There will be an upcoming exhibition to accompany the publication, details will be posted shortly!

Dominique Corbasson for Vanity Fair

Vanity Fair profiled the history of 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues in Manhattan in their recent issue, and they asked Dominique Corbasson to create an illustration of all the buildings on the block. She captured the block with her signature colorful aesthetic, and the June 2012 issue is available now!

Chris Long and Edwin Pouncey are Battle Of The Eyes, and there will be an exhibition at the Norwich Castle gallery. The show will include paintings from their ‘Predatory Life’ series, as well as live action painting, films, and on-site sculpture.

For any of you in the UK, try to catch one of the live performances on Saturdays and Sundays!

Samantha Hahn’s Watercolor Notebooks and Cards

Samantha Hahn created a watercolor notecard and notebook set for Galison Green, and they’re all made on recycled paper. The notebook set includes three thin notebooks, each featuring different insides (one graph paper, one blank, and one lined) to capture all kinds of inspiration. The card sets include four different designs of cards, and all the envelopes have subtle paint splatters to match the watercolor cards. Blank on the inside, they’re just right for any occasion!

Unstable Exhibition at Maggs Gallery

From Maggs Counterculture and Strange Attractor comes an exhibition titled “Unstable,” which will feature artwork from Battle of the Eyes (a duo made up of Chris Long and Edwin Pouncey). The other artists that will be exhibiting are Joel Biroco, Julian House and Cathy Ward. The show will be up for one month, from May 8 – June 8, 2012.
